How This Site Works
Fly-ins.com is FREE for everyone:
Fly-ins.com provides everyone with schedules and calendars for fly-ins, airshows and other aviation events. It is completely free of charge for everyone, including those searching for events and flying destinations as well as those wishing to post them.
Sign up for Automatic Event Notifications:
We highly recommend for everyone to sign up for out Automatic Event Notifications (also free of charge). When you sign up for automatic event notifications, we will send you an e-mail when fly-in, airshow or other aviation event is first listed, then an event reminder five days before the event is to occur. All you have to do is tell us (one time) many miles from your airport (or multiple airports) you wish us to provide event notices for.
Post Your Aviation Event, Logo or Image, and a .PDF brochure:
Anyone wishing to promote an event that is open to the public is urged to post the event here. There is no charge for posting events. Please visit the "Post An Event" section of the site and follow the instructions there. In addition to entering the event information, you may upload an image or logo for your event as well as a brochure in the >PDF format. People interested in your event can download the brochure free of charge.
Search and Have Fun. Then Go Flying and Have Fun!
It's easy to find fly-ins, airshows and aviation events you might wish to attend here on Fly-ins.com. Search our calendar of aviation events and fly-in destinations by location, date and distance. To begin your search, simply enter your local Airport ID or Zip code, then select the radius (in statute miles) you wish to search. Or, if you just want to check events for your state, simply pick that state from the list (the number of aviation events we have listed for each state is next to the state's name). If you wish to filter your results my month, simply select that month as well.
A summary of your fly-ins, airshows or other event will be displayed immediately below the search box. Click "read more" to find out additional details about that event. If you entered an Airport ID at the beginning of your search, the approximate direct distance in Statute Miles from the Airport ID you entered will also be displayed next to the event information. You may also select "Map View" to see your results displayed on Google Maps.
If you wish to check the approximate number of Statute Miles between other airports you can also use the "Check Distances" tab using the FAA Airport IDs. This will display the approximate distance in Statute Miles between them on a Google map with a direct course line (which is for reference only and not for navigation).
We are sure you will enjoy our site.
